Thank you to everyone who came out to the WALK in 2008! $568,642.67 was raised at the Winnipeg WALKs to support MS research and services. $122,082.91 was raised at St. Vital Park and $446,559.76 was raised at The Forks! Get ready to lace up for the 2009 WALK!
A special thanks to all of the volunteers and sponsors. Without your support and dedication, we would not be able to hold this event and raise the funds which go toward programs and services in Manitoba, as well as research.
Next year's Winnipeg WALKs will be on Sunday, April 26, 2009. Keep checking back for more information!

research into the cause and cure of this challenging disease.
It also funds the many programs and services the MS Society
offers Manitobans living with MS. Help us achieve our mission
of being a leader in finding a cure for MS and enabling people
affected by MS to enhance their quality of life.
TeamMS
Ask anyone who's walked on a team and they'll tell you how
much fun they had. Why not make this the year you start
up your own team? You just need a total of four people. For

If
you are walking on behalf of a person living with MS,
you can register for the SOLEmate Program. On WALK day,
pick up your SOLEmate pinnie and wear it proudly.
VOLUNTEER
WITH US in 2009!
You don't have to WALK to enjoy WALK Day! We always need
lots of volunteers to help us put on this first class event.
Volunteer positions range from cheering WALKers to helping set
up the event sites. Every task is valuable. And yes,
you can even raise pledges as a volunteer and qualify for great
prizes!
